Jessica Lauren is currently a reporter for WESH 2 News located in Orlando, Florida. Prior to joining the NBC affiliate, Jessica covered breaking news and features on CBS12’s “Good Morning South Florida.”

Jessica started her news career by relocating to a small market.  There she learned how to shoot, edit, write stories and anchor the evening news.

In the earlier stages of her career, Jessica worked as a tv host for a variety of syndicated networks including: Lifetime TV, MTV,  and The Travel Channel.  She also worked as a home shopping host on “Gems TV” and “America’s Value Channel”, where she sold jewelry and gemstones to a live national audience.

Throughout college, Jessica worked as a public speaker and represented Fortune 500 companies at conventions.  She would present scripted information using an ear prompter to trade show attendees throughout the US and Europe. Jessica continues to work as a corporate presenter. Some of the clients she represents are Microsoft, LG Electronics, Boeing, Pfizer Pharmaceutical, and Hitachi.

Jessica received her formal education from The State University of New York, where she received a BA degree in Communications.  She also holds an A.J.P. certification through the Gemological Institute of America.
